Deserted

It is the year 718, the land is dry and desolate. The baron rocky landscape of the south plateau borders giant pink salt seas that are uninhabited by any form of life. A nomadic tribe has been moving along the coast in hope of finding an oasis that could replenish their supply, it has been weeks since their last discovery and the tribe is becoming desperate. The oases serve as safe havens for the tribe driving off sand spirits and Jinn. In the night a large flash can be seen floating down through the atmosphere. It crashes into the sand spewing debris and sand. The tribe leave in the morning to investigate the impact site, they come to discover a meteor implanted in the sand. Plant life and organic matter start to grow around the meteor and supply the tribe with natural resources. As time goes on fruit and freshwater accumulate in the new jungle. The power from this meteor drives away the spirits and Jinn that would normally have free reign on sparse tribes.
